FUJIFILM KLASSE W + FUJIFILM SUPERIA PREMIUM 400

2016年の旅行ではハワイに最後寄って帰っています。ニューヨーク、サンフランシスコ、シアトル、ハワイと動いたので忙しくも楽しい旅行でした。もう少し海外旅行がしやすい状況に戻ればと思います。
こうやってみると、ちょっとSUPERIA PREMIUM 400はハワイとは相性が違う？なんか色味が渋すぎるかなって今見ると感じますね。フィルムの特性かな。AUTOで撮ってたと思いますが、少し明るめにf値を固定して撮る方が良かったかもしれません。
デジカメと違い、フィルムは現像して結果を見てみるまで最終的にどうなるかわからないので、そこが難しいところですが一方で予想外の新しい発見もあったりするので面白いところですね。

We made a last stop in Hawaii on our 2016 trip and returned home. It was a busy but enjoyable trip as we moved from New York, San Francisco, Seattle, and Hawaii. I hope to return to a situation where international travel is a little easier.
In this way, I wonder if SUPERIA PREMIUM 400 is a little different from Hawaii. I feel that the colors are a bit too subdued, maybe a characteristic of the film. I think I used AUTO, but it might have been better to use a slightly brighter f-stop.
Unlike a digital camera, with film you don’t know what the final result will be until you develop the film and look at the results. But that is fun and sometime unexpected image at developed print.

Seattle 2016 on Film – FUJIFILM KLASSE W w/ SUPERIA PREMIUM 400

今回もKLASSE WとSUPERIA PRMIUM 400での2016年のシアトルです。
シアトルに行ったのは、この時一回だけで長く居た訳ではないので、もう一回行ってみたい場所です (後は2019年の旅行でトランジットで立ち寄ってホテルで寝るというのがありました)。

出来ればイチローがマリナーズのグランドで練習してる姿を見てみたいと思ってます。

行った時の事を思い出すように、すっきりとした青い空が綺麗に出ていて、また行きたくなります。フィルムならではの写りになっていて、記憶と気持ちに響いて来ます。

前回の旅行ではボーイングの工場見学とTHE MUSEUM OF FLIGHTをメインに回りましたが、今度はもう少しシアトル市内を楽しむ感じもいいなと思っています。パイクプレイスマーケット近辺はお洒落で面白そうなお店が多そうでした。またじっくり回ってみたいです。

Again, this is Seattle in 2016 with KLASSE W and SUPERIA PRMIUM 400.
This is the only time I’ve travel to Seattle and I wasn’t there for long, so it’s a place I’d like to visit again (in 2019 trip, I’ve been stopping in transit and just sleeping in a hotel).

I would love to see Ichiro Suzuki practicing on the Mariners field with his team mate if possible (I know he was retire, but he is still train in ground with mate).

The clear blue sky is beautiful, as I remember when I went there, and it makes me want to go back. The images are captured in a way that only film can, and they resonate with my memories and feelings.

On my last trip, I mainly toured the Boeing factory and THE MUSEUM OF FLIGHT, but next time I would like to enjoy Seattle a little more. I thought the area around Pike Place Market seemed to have many stylish and interesting stores. I would like to take my time to visit there again.

New York 2016 on Film – FUJIFILM KLASSE W w/ SUPERIA PREMIUM 400

古い写真になりますが、2016年のニューヨークです。
2016年にアメリカ旅行に行った時にフィルムで撮っていた分です。
フィルムを現像して、デジタルデータでももらっていたのですが、印刷した写真だけ見ていてデータを取り込み忘れたままとなっていました。

カメラはFUJIFILM KLASSE W、フィルムはFUJIFILM SUPERIA PREMIUM 400です。
SUPERIA PREMIUM 400は27枚撮りは無くなってしまいましたが36枚撮りがまだ手に入るフィルムですね。

やっぱあらためてフィルムの写真見るとデジタルとは違いますね。どっちがいい、悪いじゃなく、もう単純に別物。
iPhoneで見る写真とMacで見る写真でも粒状感が違って見えます。iPhoneは画面が小さいから、当然なのですが。

This is an old photo, but it is New York City in 2016.
These are the minutes I took on film when I traveled to America in 2016.
I had the film developed and received the digital data as well, but I only saw the printed photo and forgot to import the data.

The camera is a FUJIFILM KLASSE W and the film is FUJIFILM SUPERIA PREMIUM 400.
SUPERIA PREMIUM 400 is no longer available in 27 shots, but 36 shots is still available.

When I look at film photos again, they are so different from digital photos. It’s not that one is better or worse than the other, but they are simply different.
The graininess are looks different to see photos in a iPhone and a Mac, which is natural because the iPhone screen is smaller.

Good morning Ginza-Shinbashi — FUJIFILM X100V

前回のOKUROJIに行くまでと、行った後の通りということで、早朝の銀座から新橋です。
朝早い時間だと、やはり銀座も人通りがほとんどありませんね。人通りがない朝の銀座も好きです。
とても贅沢な場所と時間を感じることが出来るからです。銀座という街を独占しているような感じに近い感覚かもしれません。

This is Shimbashi from Ginza in the early morning, as it is the street the last time I went to OKUROJI before and after.
In the early morning, Ginza is almost empty of people. I like Ginza in the morning when there are no pedestrians.
It is a very luxurious place and time. It may be a feeling similar to that of exclusivity at the place of Ginza.

Nobody’s in Hibiya OKUROJI – Tokyo Streetphotography by FUJIFILM X100V – 26

誰もいない日比谷 OKUROJI

早朝6時の日比谷 OKUROJIです。
有楽町〜新橋の高架下にできたJR東日本による都市開発プロジェクトです。
2020年9月開業でコロナ真っ只中の開業だったのでテレビで特集されているのは見ましたが、足を運ぶ機会がありませんでした。今回思い立って誰もいないであろう早朝を言ってみましたが、誰もいませんでした、笑。おかげで、高架下の構造を丸々感じることが出来る時間ではありました。柱がたくさんあり、外とのつながりはアーチ上になっている姿がわかったりと。また、古い煉瓦の作りを感じることが出来る壁が、あえてだと思いますが見えていて、新しい場所としてだけでなく、歴史ある場所であることもまたメッセージが見えてきます。100年以上の歴史がある高架橋のようですが、こういう姿で共存できるのは良いですね。

This is Hibiya OKUROJI in the early morning at 6:00 a.m.
This is an urban development project by JR East that was built under the elevated Yurakucho – Shimbashi railway line.
I saw it featured on TV, but never had a chance to visit it because it opened in September 2020, right in the middle of COVID-19.
This time I thought of it and said early in the morning when no one would be there, but no one was, lol. But thanks to that, it was time to get a full feel for the elevated structure. There were many pillars, and the connection to the outside could be seen in the form of an archway.
It is good that we can coexist in such a way, even though the viaduct seems to be more than 100 years old.

Good morning Akihabara 4 – Tokyo Streetphotography by FUJIFILM X100V – 25

秋葉原シリーズ最後の投稿です。
なんだかんだ駅下のラジオセンターは秋葉原名物の一つの場所ですね。もっとも秋葉原っぽい場所であり、古い秋葉原を感じ取れる場所です。
ほとんど細かい電子部品が売っている場所なので、目的を持って行く人以外はここで買うものはなかなかないと思いますが、歩いていて面白い場所ではあります。
ラジオデパートもそうですね。
こういう姿がいつまで残るのかわかりませんが、長く行っている場所なだけに残っていて欲しいと思います。
早朝になるとそんな姿もわからない姿になっていますし、ほとんど人通りがないので、この写真からは分かりにくいですよね。

This is the last post in the Akihabara series.
The Radio Center under the station is one of the most famous places in Akihabara. It is the most Akihabara-like place and you can feel the old Akihabara.
It is a place that sells mostly small electronic parts, so it is hard to buy anything here unless you go there with a purpose, but it is an interesting place to walk around.
So is the Radio Department Store.
I don’t know how long this kind of appearance will remain, but I hope it will remain just because it is a place I have been going to for a long time.
It is hard to tell from this picture because it is hard to recognize such a figure in the early morning and there are hardly any pedestrians.

Good morning Akihabara 3 – Tokyo Streetphotography by FUJIFILM X100V – 24

メインの通りと一本裏側を駅側に戻ってくる感じで。
以前は、木曜と金曜だったとと思うのですが、ゲームの発売日の日に徹夜の列が出来るのが恒例でした。あえて予約を取らないお店があったので、そうするしかなったのですが、近隣のお店に迷惑がかかるからという理由もあり徐々に予約ができるようになっていきました。それでも徹夜の列はあったのですが、最近はどうなんでしょうか。
この日は撮影しに行ったのは水曜日だったのですが特にそういう列はありませんでした。

This time back to station side from the main street and back street side.
It used to be customary to have all-night lines on Thursday and Friday, I think, the day of game releases. Some stores dared not to take reservations, so we had no choice but to do so, but gradually reservations became possible, partly because it would cause inconvenience to neighboring stores. Even so, there were still all-night lines, but what about these days?
On this day, it was a Wednesday when I went there to take pictures, but there was no such line in particular.
