SUPERIA X-TRA400 is now available again!

まさかのSUPERIA X-TRA400再販

何気にyodobashi.comで手に入るフィルムを検索してみたら何故かFUJIFILM SUPERIA X-TRA400がヒットし買える状態に。何で？確かこれ販売終了してたよなと思って調べてみると確かに2018年に販売終了されています。

しかし、なぜか復活している・・・。元々、海外ではまだ販売が継続されていたフィルムで、今回販売されている仕様も海外版を日本向けにパッケージをラベルしているという仕様のようです（X-TRA400であることに変わりはない）。

富士フイルムの商品ページにはありませんが、オンライン販売のフジフィルムモールでは取り扱いが再開されれています。

ただし、現在入荷待ちとなっています。

I searched casually yodobashi.com for available films, and for some reason, FUJIFILM SUPERIA X-TRA400 was found and is now available for purchase. Why? I thought it was discontinued, and when I looked it up, I found that it was indeed discontinued in 2018.

But somehow it is back… Originally, the film was still being sold overseas, and it seems that the specifications of the film that is now being sold are the overseas version with the packaging labeled for Japanese (The film specification is still X-TRA400).

The product is not listed on the Fujifilm product page, but the online sales site Fujifilm Mall has resumed handling the product.

まぁ、僕はyodobashi.comで買っちゃいましたが (だってポイント付くし・・・)。

X-TRA400再販の背景は、どうやらSUPERIA PREMIUM 400の供給問題と絡んでいるようです。
X-TRA400を廃止する代わりにSUPERIA PREMIUM 400を使ってくださいという案内だったと思いますが、それがまさかのX-TRA400へ逆戻りという。

SUPERIA PREMIUM 400は2023年1月以降になるようです・・・。

SUPERIA PREMIUM 400が安定供給されると、X-TRA400は再び消えるのか、それともそのまま残るのか。この辺も気になるところです。とりあえず買えるうちにたくさん買っておこうというところでしょうか。

Well, I bought it at yodobashi.com (because it comes with yosobashi points…).

The background of the X-TRA400 re-release seems to be related to the supply problem of SUPERIA PREMIUM 400.
I think the guide was to use SUPERIA PREMIUM 400 instead of discontinuing X-TRA400, but it is now back to X-TRA400.

SUPERIA PREMIUM 400 will be available after January 2023, that the information is from FUJIFILM mall…

Once SUPERIA PREMIUM 400 is in stable supply, will X-TRA400 disappear again from Japan or will it remain as it is? This is another area of concern. I guess we should buy a lot of X-TRA400 while we can.
