iPod 第3世代 電池交換
大好きな道具を長く使いたい。そう考える人は多いと思います。ただデジタルデバイスになると、技術的な進化に陳腐化して、新しいのに変えていく…そんなことはよくある事だと思います。特にスマートフォンともなれば、時代に適合出来なるのは、ある事ですが、一昔前のデジタルミュージックプレイヤーであれば、まだ何とかなります。
iPod 3rd generation の電池を再度交換しました。以前にも一度実施しているのですが、再度電池の持ちが悪くなったので交換することにしました。

I changed the battery of my iPod 3rd generation again. I had already done this once before, but decided to replace the battery again because it was no longer holding up well.
以前と同じ電池を買おうと探したのですが、流石に時間が経っている事もあり、同じ電池が見つかりません。この電池探しが今回の最大の課題でした。
古い機種なので、対応電池がない理由も想像付きます。それが理由でさよならするケースもあるだろうと思いながら、根気強く探してみました。
Amazonで見つけれれば良かったのですが、残念ながらAmazonでは見つけるのは事が出来ませんでした。
I tried to buy the same battery as before, but it has been a long time and I could not find the same battery. The search for this battery was the biggest challenge this time.
Since it is an old model, I can imagine why there are no compatible batteries. I tried to search patiently, thinking that there would be cases where I would have to say goodbye for that reason.
I wish I could have found it on Amazon, but unfortunately I could not find it on Amazon.

日本語によるサイトですがなんだか怪しさしかありません、笑。サイトにある企業情報を見ると香港にある会社のようです。
クレジットカードで買う事になりますが、あんまり怪しいのは嫌ですよねぇ。
ただよくよく見てると決済方法にPayPalがありました。PayPal経由にすれば、直接カード情報を先方のECサイトに入力する必要がないので、最悪物が来なかったなんて事になってもまぁ良いかと思い、購入しました。

で、待つ事1ヶ月くらいでしょうか。
全然連絡も来ず、配送中情報は一応見れてましたが全然更新もされず、随分小さな一個の配送に時間かかるなぁと思いながら待ってたら、突然届きました、笑。
とりあえず無事に配送されました。色々心配したけど、これで取り掛かれます。
電池がハズレ品だったなんて事がない事を祈りながら…。

Anyway, it was delivered safely. I was worried about a lot of things, but now I can get on with it.
Hoping that the batteries were not the wrong ones….
ここからは交換作業です。前回苦労の記憶しかないケースの開梱に憂鬱な気持ちを抱きながら、意を決して取り掛かります。
案の定今回も苦労しました。20分くらいかかったでしょうか。途中諦めようかという気持ちが今回も芽生えながらも、一度開けた事があるだけに、この時間との格闘こそ、根気を試されていると思って粘り強く頑張りました。前回のコツがあっただけに、隙間にカードを入れる事は比較的すんなり出来たのですが、そこから実際にケースを開けるところが、とにかく大変でした。
なんとか格闘し、電池を交換、ちょっと配線に悩みましたが収まる経路を作って、蓋を閉めていざボタンを触ってみると無事起動を確認。しっかりHDDの回るキュイーンという音もしてiPod復活です。まずは、電池に残ってた分をしっかり使い切って、充電してみた所4.5時間くらい動作しました。
十分すぎる動作時間です。

As expected, I had a hard time this time, too, and it must have taken about 20 minutes. I had already opened the case once before, so I thought that this struggle against time was a test of my perseverance and perseverance. Because I had the knack from the last time, I was able to insert the card into the gap relatively easily, but from there, actually opening the case was the hard part.
I managed to wrestle with it, replaced the battery, and although I had a little trouble with the wiring, I made a path for it to fit in, closed the lid, and when I finally touched the button, I confirmed that it started up safely. The sound of the HDD spinning was also heard, and the iPod was restored. First of all, I used up the remaining battery and recharged it, and it worked for about 4.5 hours.
It is more than enough operating time.
In addition to the batteries, a tool for unpacking is included.

Finaly, I was able to fit the battery successfully.
途中電池が届くかハラハラしましたが、無事復活してくれて安心しました。
これで当面まだまだiPodは僕の中では現役で活躍してくれそうです。
