The other day, I went shopping by bicycle from my home to Akihabara. On the way there and on the way back, I went around the Kuramae neighborhood, which is one of the trendy places nowadays, and I saw many new fashionable stores. I was surprised to see so many stores in such a place. I would like to take my time and visit more places next time.
Some of our favorite cafes have been lost since Corona, but new stores are also being created in spite of this. EXCELSIOR CAFE SKYTREE EAST TOWER 12F is a store that opened in 2021.
First and foremost, the view is excellent. Don’t hesitate to sit by the window to think, and when you feel like losing your concentration, the extraordinary view of downtown from high above will give you room to clear your head.
I heard that the FUJIFILM X-E4 had been discontinued. This is somewhat unexpected. Not selling well? Component problems? The X-E series is, to put it very roughly, like X-Pro and X100 added together and divided by 2, minus the OVF. Would it be more correct to say that the X100 has interchangeable lenses and no OVF?
I have the impression that the X-E series is an interchangeable lens camera that allows you to enjoy the high quality of FUJIFILM at a reasonable price. Looking at SONY, even though their digital cameras are doing well, it seems that the ability to shoot video is becoming more and more important. (The X-H2S has been very well advertised).
I can’t think of anything to write about this, but here are some pictures I took while waiting to receive “my number card”. Sunday pickup inevitably takes a long time, doesn’t it? It was long… – “my number card” is printed personal number and photo card from the Japanease government to a person. In japan this card is still not popular now, but now the government campaign to spread the “my number card” to person. The future the car license and a health insurance card will integrate to my nuber card.

The weather had been cloudy and rainy for a long time in Tokyo, Japan. Finally, the sun shone brightly in the morning, and although I had only bit time, I walked around Shimbashi with X100V dangling in a circle.
Since it was now autumn light, the contrasting sunlight was falling through the gaps between the multi-tenant buildings. It’s gradually becoming the season to see such pictures. It was a short but refreshing time.
After the heat wave, the days are starting to feel a little cooler and more like autumn. The sky is starting to clear and I can feel that we are gradually approaching the winter sky. The humidity is also dropping, so the way we perceive light is also changing. It is just about this time is comfortable to get out and take pictures.
I took some color shots of Ginza at night, using a high sensitivity of ISO 1600, but they came out beautifully. It was a day when I moved because I wanted to take pictures. Ginza’s Namiki-dori Avenue and its vicinity is not dark because of the lights from the signboards, but it is a somewhat unique street. It is not that it is a dangerous street. It may be an area where there is a large contrast between daytime and nighttime. I sometimes walk around with my camera, because I have a chance to some picturesque moments. Sometimes I am able to take a good picture, sometimes not. X100V can be instantly adjusted with a dial to the appropriate value for the moment, which is really convenient when walking around town at night. (And the photo quality is beautiful!)
