Remember when Apple introduced the AA battery charger and nickel-metal hydride rechargeable batteries? The first generation Magic Mouse / Magic Keyboard operated on AA batteries and was released in July 2010 (now discontinued).
First and foremost, the view is excellent. Don’t hesitate to sit by the window to think, and when you feel like losing your concentration, the extraordinary view of downtown from high above will give you room to clear your head.
“Sustainability” is an important word, but it seems to have become somewhat of a buzzword. There is a company that takes sustainability seriously in the field of footwear. Have you heard of the Allbirds brand of shoes? You may have seen their shoes around town in Japan recently, and you may know them as a shoe manufacturer from San Francisco. Carbon footprint and renewable materials are hot topics in many places right now (Apple is leading the way in these efforts as well). Allbirds is a company that aims to make quality shoes in a way that doesn’t overpower nature in the field of footwear.
I have been aware of this company for a while, but to be honest, I had given up on them because of their high price. But last year I took the plunge and bought a pair. I am basically the type of person who does not spend more money than necessary on clothes, but I have my own preferences when it comes to shoes, and the design was simple, clean, and to my liking. So I bought shoes by Allbirds again.

We want to use our favorite tools for a long time. I think many people think so. However, when it comes to digital devices, it is often the case that they become obsolete due to technological evolution and are replaced by new ones…and so on. Especially when it comes to be old smart phones, it is a fact that they can no longer adapt to the times, but it is still possible to get by with a digital music player from a long time ago.
I heard that the FUJIFILM X-E4 had been discontinued. This is somewhat unexpected. Not selling well? Component problems? The X-E series is, to put it very roughly, like X-Pro and X100 added together and divided by 2, minus the OVF. Would it be more correct to say that the X100 has interchangeable lenses and no OVF?
I have the impression that the X-E series is an interchangeable lens camera that allows you to enjoy the high quality of FUJIFILM at a reasonable price. Looking at SONY, even though their digital cameras are doing well, it seems that the ability to shoot video is becoming more and more important. (The X-H2S has been very well advertised).
I saw a tweet that Koda Proimage100 was in stock at Popeye Camera, where I always get my film developed, and I rushed to buy it. You can still buy it from their online store (maybe even in stores). Most of the time when you buy online, you don’t know the expiration date, but they have written the expiration date as 2024.8, which is helpful. I have never used Proimage100, and when I wanted to use it, it was out of stock, including online. Did they get quite a few in this time? It seems that other camera stores are also reselling it.
I had to buy them when I could, otherwise they might run out, so I bought two of them for now. The price may go up even if they come back in stock in the future due to the weak yen.
