Tokyo Ginza 2023 w/ T-CHROME

X Photographerであり僕の好きな写真家高橋俊充さんのblogにカラーモードについての記事がありました。僕は基本撮って出しなので、RAWで撮らずJPEGです。なので、カメラから出る色が僕にとっては重要です。FUJIFILMのカメラは、その点で他社を凌いでいると思います。高橋さんはFUJIFILMのカメラも使われていますが、独特な色合いだなぁと思ってました。

その高橋さんが今回FUJIFILMの秘伝のレシピを公開されたので、早速真似てみました。

X Photographer and one of my favorite photographers, Toshimitsu Takahashi, wrote an article about color mode in his blog. I basically don’t shoot in RAW but in JPEG. I think FUJIFILM cameras are superior to other companies in this respect. Mr. Takahashi also uses FUJIFILM cameras, and I have always thought that their colors are unique.

I was impressed by the unique color tones of his FUJIFILM cameras, and I immediately tried to copy his secret recipe.

ホワイトバランスについて紹介されていたので、そこから自分なりのポイントを決めて以下の設定でT-CHROMEと名前をつけて保存し撮影してみました。

I decided on my own white balance and named it “T-CHROME” and saved the image with the following settings.

Shutter Speed : Manual
FILM SIMULATION : CLASSIC NEGATIVE
GRAIN EFFECT : WEAK LARGE
COLOR CHROME EFFECT : WEAK
COLOR CHROME FX BLUE : STRONG
WHITE BALANCE : AUTO R -1 B -4
D RANGE PRIORITY : WEAK
TONE CURVE : H:+1 S:+1
COLOR : +2
SHARPNESS : +1
NOISE REDUCTION : -1
CLARITY : 0
COLOR SPACE : sRGB

CLASSIC NEGATIVEを選んで落ち着いた色合いに対して、当てるのが良さそうに思えたのでやってみました。
ちゃんと設定を書いてみると、もう少し違う設定にしてもいいか持って気分が出てきました。それはまた今後に。

I chose CLASSIC NEGATIVE because it seemed to me that it would be a good idea to apply it to a calm color.
After writing down the settings properly, I felt like I could use a slightly different setting. I’ll come back to that in the future.

銀座3丁目から新橋駅までの道中をこの設定で撮ってみました。
いつもとちょっとまた違った写りです。
自分が普段撮り慣れてない色ってのもあって新鮮さもありますが、コレいいかも。丁度、冬に向かって季節が動いているので、それに合わせて光も変わるから色が動いている時期ですね。撮る日、時間によってさらに色々な表情を見せてくれそうです。
ますます、X100Vが好きになると共に、まだまだ知らないX100Vで取れる写真がいっぱいあるんだなと感じました。

I used these settings on the way from Ginza 3-chome to Shinbashi station.
The picture is a little different from the usual.
The colors I am not used to taking pictures of are also new to me, but I think this is a good idea. The season is moving toward winter, and the light changes accordingly, so this is the time of year when the colors are moving. I think it will show me even more different expressions depending on the day and time of day when I take the pictures.
I am becoming more and more fond of X100V, and at the same time, I feel that there are still many photos that can be taken with X100V that I don’t know about yet.
